Busy Busy

Hello everyone, We're still around, but very busy. Well, Becky is always busy, but I am also swamped with midterms and papers. And yes, I realize that just in time for this, the punishment set me to 1 week dares rather than two weeks, and one of the blog masters was apparently watching the clock counting down the minutes, and I have one of the required dares to be done.

I will try to get to it ASAP, but I'm also way behind on work, and sorry, that comes first. Soon. Also, will soon do the popcorn dare. And also, will soon explode.

Popcorn Dare Confusion

Just a quick update, because I just realized that I didn't fully explain the popcorn dare.

The dare will be one of us, wearing whatever outfit wins, to go pop popcorn. The trick, which I didn't realize did not get understood, was that the popcorn would have to be popped in the common kitchen that the whole dorm uses. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

VDay Bet Dare Picked

Just a quick update: I dropped the crazy bondage with friends dare. All of the dares that got picked were scary, but also ones that I've kind of been dying to do. That one was the hardest to pull off though, and would require the most prep, so I decided to put it off some more. Someday, I promise, but it wasn't going to be soon and I wanted to get the bet over with. Also, its damn scary.

Fortunately the die roll hit on unbuttoning date, probably the easiest of the three. I will post about it soon, but just so you know, its coming, although it might not happen right away, since it does require a date and all.

Post VDay Dare: Becky Won

I won, so Isabelle made me do the post write up, just to let you know the fall out.

My winnings:

Isabelle now has to do a dare every week (not two) or else be subjected to the blog masters' wrath. We'll probably only keep this up until spring break, since it'll get more busy after spring break and doing one a week might not always be as practical, but we'll see how she does. My winning, up to me ;-)

For the next week, starting today, Isabelle will do her homework in my room in her underwear. If she's nice, I won't open the window and let the cold air in.

She will also do one of these three dares soon:

1. Crazy bondage with friends dare
2. Unbuttoned date dare
3. Repeatedly changing clothes dare

She gets to toss one out, and then flips a coin between the other two. But, we also decided to add one more twist. Tell us your least favorite in the comments. If enough people don't like one, and she gets it, she will re-flip once. If she gets it again, the second time, thats it, but it lets you tilt the odds a bit.

Valentines Day Update

Before I talk about my date, I want to say, I love how the popcorn dare is going. Becky, meet Karma, she's a bitch. I want to do something in honor of the amazing defeat Becky is suffering, but I haven't thought of what yet. So just gloating for now.

Now for the valentines day dare. Before I talk about my date (again) I want to share a little bit about Becky's date, and a couple things people have said: First, I am not upset at all. I know poaching an ex is incredibly bad form, but this isn't one of those cases. I am definitely over him, and was never not-over him (I was going to say under him, but that has different meanings and I can't say those were never true). It was a short fling a while ago, fun but definitely not a long term thing. It was also a second, very short fling that lasted until I found out he was cheating on his current girlfriend with me. And Becky never liked him, so no hard feelings, just surprise (although for those of you who offered to plan a revenge dare for her, yes, I'm very upset ;-))

Now, my date: I will be going out one of the guys who works in the library with me. I was trying to butter him up a little, and talked about how I was going to get someone to go out with me on valentines day just for fun, not serious, maybe even go all out and have an overly sappy romantic holiday to make the other daters feel uncomfortable (because if it was just casual, there would be no way I was winning). He said it sounded like fun when we were talking about it so I asked if he wanted to be my date.

Even if I do lose, I like this guy, he's funny and really fun to hang out with when we have shifts together, so I know I'll be enjoying my evening more than Becky.

If anyone has any suggestions for overly sappy things to do to make other couple uncomfortable or feel inadequate, I would love them (phrased as a dare, for points?)

Valentine's Day dare and popcorn updates:

Vday first:

For the stakes, Becky and I picked out the dares.

Not going into a lot of detail on those for two reasons, one or two have a couple details that need ironing out, and we wanted to tease you a bit.

Additionally: Added dare: While Isabelle is on her date, if her date excuses himself to use the bathroom (or for some reason leaves Is alone for a few minutes), before Isabelle has the need to excuse herself, then Isabelle may text either the word 'panties' or 'bra' to Becky. Becky, if you get such a text, you have 5 minutes to take off the indicated item (could get sticky if you're driving round), take a picture of your bra or panties off of your body, and send the pic back to Isabelle. Of course, you'll need to keep them off for the rest of the evening. Isabelle, if you have to excuse yourself for the loo before your date, then Becky is safe. You can text 'safe' to her, or let her sweat for the rest of the evening wondering if the dare text will ever come.

Popcorn dare:

I think we've got enough, waited long enough, the polls are going up. We're going to trim the options a bit to try and keep it streamlined, not have too many, redundant ones.

Remember, the way this will work is we'll put up two polls. One for who, one for wearing what. They'll run for a long time until we get a chance to do the dare. Then we'll pick one at random, the more votes each gets, the more likely it will be picked.

Blog Masters Update

Just a quick note, like I promised in the dare post. We're adding something to the blog masters:

If I haven't done a dare in two weeks, if its been 14 days since my last post, the blog masters are free to send me a dare, and I will do it, doesn't matter what it is. I figure that will keep my on my game a little bit. Same thing goes for Becky, but she gets a month/4 weeks. Although I may insist we drop that if she keeps being a sneaky bitch on my dares!

And even if I have done a dare, and haven't managed to post yet, I'm still vulnerable to the blog masters, so I can't sneak out that way. As for if more than one come in from a blog master if I miss two weeks, if they come in and its still been two weeks, I have to do them, so that will encourage me to do it asap.

I'm going to be adding this to the blog masters post, so it will be there too.

Blog Masters

So we've mostly contacted some people to be blog masters. A couple responded, we may look for more if other good darers prove themselves. Just to explain how this is going to work.

How to become a blog master:

Be a good, consistent darer, if we like what you send, we'll probably invite you. That simple

How it works:

If we're getting close to a deadline, like a birthday dare or something, without dares, we'll email the blog masters. They will provide us dares. We will do them. Its a trade, in exchange for being on call, we will do the dares we receive, rather than pick and choose like we normally do.

Also, we will occasionally send out requests. "We're in the mood for these types of dares" or "we really want a dare for this" or "we're putting up a poll, need a fourth idea". These special requests will go out only to the blog masters.

Third, if I haven't posted a dare in 14 days (2 weeks), I will do any dare that a blog master sends, as soon as possible. Same goes for Becky, but she gets 4 weeks, since she's busier.

Blog Masters can request more perks, and we will probably say OK.

How to not be a blog master:

Bug us asking to be a blog master, ask for pics, or never reply to blog master requests.

Quick note

Its been a while since I've posted, sorry, I'm not dead yet. Its end of semester and holidays. We'll probably be taking a short break and figuring out some changes on how we do things and we'll get back into the fun after we survive the holidays.

Date Dare Series Poll Winners

Birthday

Just a reminder, I've got that to-do list for my birthday that is very very very short right now. I either need more suggestions for it, or a really good dare/set of dares for my birthday party to replace it. December 11.

Possible change to the blog

So, we're looking at a possible change to how we do things on this blog. Sometimes suggestions are lacking, either because its a hard request, people are busy, short notice, whatever. Not your faults. not ours, just doesn't always work well.

Problem is, we really like the suggestion stuff. So here is what we're thinking of doing, we'd like input.

A Blog Master, or Masters (or mistress, mistresses).

This would not be a normal master/slave thing. This really puts you on the hook more than us. What you would do is when we don't have suggestions, like the max/min range for the last date dare, you would fill it in for us. So you would be our on-call suggester. We might open it up to change monthly or something, or have a couple people who have sent in good dares that might get the "We need help" emails. In exchange for being on call, you wouldn't have to compete. We ask for a needed suggestion, and you give us one, and we take it. This would only be for if nobody else sends one in, normal competition suggestions would work normally, its just for when you're on call. We may develop this more.

So some questions to email us about or answer in the comments, so we can get some discussions:

Would this be worth while?

Would you rather do a competition on a monthly basis, or just have a VIP group? Or something else?

Any other thoughts? Ideas? Either on the blogmaster idea, or a different idea to deal with the same problem.

Thanks for the well wishes

I'm feeling better now, it was mostly gone by yesterday, I spent most of the weekend in bed. Too much stress too little sleep makes a sick Isabelly.

Anyway, I talked my date into going out last night because I was feeling better and wanted to celebrate that. I have a lot of work to catch up on, but hopefully I will have the finished report up later today, along with step 3 I think it is.

Anyway, most of the crazy stuff is gone and I'll have time to unwind over break, so I'll be safe from here on out hopefully.

Dare requests

Also, in addition to the date game, we'd like to formally request smaller, easier dares. Most of the dares we get are pretty elaborate, and we can't do them too often, since they require more time, more planning, etc.

So, small dares? Things that can be done spur of the moment? We'll be able to post more, you'll be able to read more... and nobody will get bored.

Two Updates (Birthday List)

So, couple things. One, we're probably giving up on the November contest, too few submissions, we'll probably steal a few dares off them for use though, so don't worry.

We've also come close to a decision on my birthday idea, one month from today. We're going to go with the list idea, since nobody had any other suggestions. I'll keep you updated with the list as ideas come in.

So send us ideas of small things I can do that evening. Kind of like a to-do list or scavenger hunt. Put on whatever you want, everything you submit is going on the list. I'm going to do as many as I can. We'd like to come up with a results like "if you do all of them, this happens, if you only get half, this happens" but we can't come up with anything. So if you have good ideas for that, please please let us know.

Updates

We still need submissions for the November Contest. If they don't come in by the end of the week, we'll just scrap the contest and pull dares from them individually. If enough do, we'll probably move the end date to my birthday next month (11th). Yay 21!

Speaking of which. I'm definitely going to need dares for that. Becky too. We may try to come up with a game or something, but right now I'm thinking a kind of "bucket list". Things I need to accomplish on my 21st birthday and just go out and get as many as I can. Might do something else though. Thoughts? Other ideas?

New Contest: November Package

New Contest, cause we like them. We will probably start doing our dares more through contests, if it works out.

So here is the contest. We will take a dare package for November. You send us five dares. We will do all five over the course of November, with our normal dares. It means you can sneak in dares we wouldn't normally pick by packaging them with dares we'd want to pick. I will be picking a package for Becky. Becky will be picking a package for me.

A couple details. We'd recommend including a 6th, for the person not getting the package. So Becky picks one for me, if I do all 5, she has to do the 6th. Not required, just an option.

Dares can be anything for any context, we'll have to make it work. If we need to be at the movies, we'll go to the movies. If we need to be on a date, we'll get a date. Travel is restricted by reasonableness, so don't say we have to be in Beijing, but we'll do our best.

Also, since last time there weren't a lot of submissions, we're going to announce the winners on Novemeber 1st, unless we don't get 4 contestants by then, in which case we'll wait until we get at least 4. We don't want it to end up being a winner by default for something like this. Feel free to submit more than one. If we get enough submissions, we may pick more than one package.

Related note: 5 dares for this one, means 5 points to the winner. We've had one suggestion for another point prize, we're thinking 5 points will get you the ability to choose a dare category and force us to do something in that category next. Do people like that. How about an idea for 10 points?

Halloween and other questions

Just a couple things to catch up now that I have a quick moment to breath:

About the Halloween contest, I didn't get a chance to talk about it much when I posted the winner. We picked the one we did for a couple reasons. We liked the good/bad pairing, we thought that would be fun, and Becky wanted something a little easier after her last dare. Also, since it was asked, we had a total of three submissions, one of the two not-winners was also a school girl outfit. So not a heavy competition, consider that when it comes to the next one, its not too hard to win.

Also, now that its been picked, feel free to send us other dares for Halloween.

Unrelated, but kind of related. We were doing a lot of dares and posting right off the bat because we wanted to get off to a good start. Now things are a bit busier, so we're not going to be doing them quite so often (like last week, sorry). If you want to see some more posting, send us a dare or something. Even if we don't do yours, it usually gets us thinking about them enough to do something. We've got a couple on the to-do list, but if we don't hear from people we keep forgetting. We'll try to be better about it, but until then, if you want us to do stuff, suggest something.

Also, just really quick, along the lines of getting people more active, if you have a suggestion for how to do so, like contests or games, please please tell us. We will love you. Also, we'll probably be more likely to take dares from new people for a little bit, just to encourage you.
